Being imitators of God means that we are to walk according to where He walks. It is the act of following Him. Obeying what He is saying, and doing things that will reflect Him. While being beloved children just shows that He loves us and see us dearly. We are important to Him, so whatever we do, He will be affected. So as much as possible, let us direct our steps toward Him, and do things that will bring glory to His name and not shame.
I’ll always be mindful of every action I make. I won’t tolerate sins that I am making, and also the sins that other people are making. As soon as I can, I will rebuke any spirits that will or already caused bad things to a person or things that will not please the Lord. I will stand firm on my principles but always think before doing anything. Because rush decisions might lead to unpleasant outcomes.
