I love #bellrining #pealboards as there is so much history contained in them. I often wonder who the ringers were and what their lives were like. I especially love these two boards as they really are rather special. I ring with @linda_georgiades at @kingstonbellringers and Linda has a family connection to the tower at St Giles-in-the-fields, Holborn. Her great-great-great-great grandfather rang a peal here in 1799 (peal board on the left) and Linda rang the same #peal in 2012, ringing the same treble bell too! (Recorded on the peal board on the right.) Amazing! It was only right that I also captured Linda in action today, with those amazing boards ever present.
