So this mask really is something. I am in love. So first of all, this mask is to be used frozen. FROZEN! Itโs recommended that you leave the mask in the freezer for at least 24 hours. And let me tell you. This mask feels amazing after a long day of work or a long day of makeup in general. Itโs good for soothing, whitening, and moisturizing! I love how the mask is in two pieces because that allows for the mask to have a better fit on your face! Also, the sheet is an essence gel sheet so itโs not super wet and because it is frozen, no dripping essence (which means no extra essence that gets thrown away). Iโm so in love! So Moisturizing! What I love about this mask is it contains a botanical ingredient, adenosine which helps improve wrinkles and minimizes skin irritations. Not only does it provide moisture to your skin, but also helps to solve skin worries and provides skin protection. So basically it calms down your inflamed skin. I had a few blemishes that were disappearing from my BLU LIGHT THERAPY. But the masks help my redness from the blemish disappear. Amazing. Love a good K-Beauty mask. Gate solution by Ballon, gate cream solution mask โClaims: to be anti-aging, moisturizing and calming. Also free from fragrances, mineral oil, artificial dyes, phenoxyethanol and disodium edta. โSome ingredients: centella asiatica extract, green tea extract, ginger root extract, licorice root extract, schizandra chinensis fruit extract, coptis japonica root extract, grapefruit extract, sodium hyaluronate, adenosine and stearic acid. โSmell: while it says no fragrance, I do detected a subtle citrus smell which has to come from the grapefruit extract. โFit: I am amazed by the fit of the mask around the eyes, nose and chin. While it does contain some space, is not big and is enough to cover those areas even though it is a big on the sides but a little fold doesnโt hurt. โResults: I was a bit worried when the mask said cream, since some cream based masks tend to break out my skin or leave a film over it, but this one didnโt. The cream essence actually became a bit watery, didnโt leave a film over my face (which I hate) and left my skin hydrated without the oily feeling. They promote healthy and beautiful skin and both brands have experience researching and studying skin care. Their GATE CREAM SOLUTION mask is designed to minimize skin irritation and concentrate on skin moisturizing and regeneration. Key ingredients include: ginger root extract (anti-aging, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, healing, improves elasticity), sodium hyaluronate (anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, hydrating, moisturizing, healing), shea butter (moisturizing, nourishing, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging) and bergamot fruit oil (healing, evens out and improves skin tone, anti-acne, skin-balancing, unclogs pores). The mask contains 23 grams (0.81 oz) and doesn't have a noticeable scent.
The eyes, nose, and mouth holes are all pretty comfortable and the mask is a little stiff due to the gauze material.
Recommended use is after cleansing, even out the skin using toner. Take the mask out of its package, unfold and apply the mask. Leave on for 10-20 minutes and then remove the mask. After removing the mask, pat the remaining essence into the skin for better absorption. After using, I found this mask to be pretty great at moisturizing, usually creamy essences are more moisturizing, however, my skin looked a little red after using the mask, but it did go away after a little while. The ingredients are pretty nourishing and the mask was pretty comfortable, except that it got a little stiffer the longer it stayed on the skin. I would really recommend this to anyone with very dry skin as it's very moisturizing and I think it's probably good for sensitive skin as well.
What I like: it's very moisturizing and doesn't really have any scent. The essence is very nourishing and really soaks well into the skin. The shape of the mask is pretty good and it's just super ideal for dry, parched skin. The ingredients are also great and the material is high-quality gauze and the effects of the mask are long-lasting. What I don't like: it's a little stiff, I hoped it would be softer. But otherwise no problems.
