STRENGTH. SOMETHING YOU STRUGGLE WITH.

People. When I say I don’t like people, it’s a very simplified thing. It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s that half the time I can’t stand them, for literally no reason. They drain me, they get on my nerves, they don’t understand how much alone time I really need, and most of them need to be that “special one”. They come to me emotional, they want me to be social when I can’t deal with it, and they don’t seem to understand or respect that I have a lot of mental problems that people exacerbate.

When I say I don’t like people, I mean that extensive social interaction leaves me exhausted, and when people try for my attention while I’m exhausted, I get violent - physically and verbally. Around people, I usually have feelings of literal homicidal tendencies slowly growing in the pit of my stomach: non-existent the first minute, roaring after the next four hours. 90% of the time, when I interact with people, it’s not because I want to, but because I’m doing others a favour. There’s very few people who I interact with because I want to.

I have a very specific way I deal with problems: first, I try to figure it out by myself. When I can’t find a solution, I either give the situation a bit more time to give me additional information, or I go to my father with the information I have. Rinse and repeat until I can make a proper, informed decision.

Emotionally, I don’t talk to anyone, unless it requires me to act. If I have an issue of emotional nature, I just ignore it until I stop feeling it, and just keep doing that every time the issue comes up.
