#being dramatic?

         “C’mon, Noct, please?  It’ll just be in ‘n out ; I swear on my life.”  The stray pebbles are crunching and grinding beneath each step forward, punctuated as he’s swiveling into an almost sideways shuffle ----  as if such a position would allow him to adequately plead this fledgling case to the other and emphasize truly how imperative this slight detour would be in the grand scheme of the day things.  Because it was.  And there they were.  And there it was passing by.  “My life.”
