Okay. So I think I need to explain the included text for people who don't play Elden Ring and for those who do but is not Filipino. 😅
The "Behold, Dog!" Meme (For Non-Players): Elden Ring has a message system in the game where when writing these messages, you have to choose a template, that usually has one or more blank spaces, and then you choose between their bank of words (locations, items, concepts, monsters, items, etc), to fill the blanks. Unfortunately, the game doesn't have the word “turtle" or "tortoise”, despite having many turtles in the game. The referenced character in this art is a giant NPC tortoise named Miriel, Pastor of Vows. With this lack of description, we then use the word “Dog”, which is available, and honestly pretty funny (Source: Comment by hswolf on Lemmy.World).
"Ikuwento mo sa akin…" Phrase (For Non-Filipino ER Players): The English translation is "Tell me the story…" and I based it on a Tagalog banter/insult/meme "Ikuwento mo sa pagong!" (English Translation: Tell that story to a turtle!) which is used when you don't like listening to the person talking to you, they are sharing too much or useless information, or if you feel like annoying the person by cutting them off mid-sentence (I know, rude 🤣).
Also, I'd like to thank my husband, Binky-Kun, for helping me with the lineart! 🥰
