Kalanchoe orgyalis, also known as the 'Copper spoons' that I spoke of in my previous post. Most Kalanchoe are native to Madagascar, and I was thinking of starting to focus on specific genera of succulents especially found in Madagascar like Kalanchoe, Pachypodium and Adenium.
Imagine a hybrid between this plant and the previously mentioned Kalanchoe beharensis "Curly". What a stunner it would be!

Kalanchoe beharensis 'Curly' also known as the 'Velvet leaf plant'. Beharensis refers to the plant's native region of Behara in South Madagascar. The plant has characteristic fleshy leaves that are covered with fine silver hairs. This variety has curling leaves that protrude outwards and curls back towards the stem. It's mostly grown for it's incredibly compact foliage and eccentric appearance.
The Kalanchoe genus has been a growing interest of mine. I specifically like the haired varieties with the copper colouring. Another one of my favorites is the 'Kalanchoe Orgyalis' also known as the 'Copper Spoons' - I'll post a photo of them soon.
