Beginner Friendly Spells - Draw in Inspiration Spell Jar
This spell is used to draw in inspiration for whatever creative project you need to complete. Its two main ingredients utilize small doodles to represent the goal you want to achieve and anise seeds or oil to actually draw in the inspiration itself. These ingredients alongside the spell tag are charged with water. This spell jar can also be turned into an amulet and carried around with you to help you with bursts of inspiration throughout the day.
You’ll Need:
A piece of paper – Used as a spell tag
A pen – To write on the spell tag
A small jar (corked preferred) – To hold all the ingredients
Light Blue Wax – To seal the top and represent creativity
Twine (Optional) – To wrap around the top before sealing to turn into an amulet
Anise seeds or anise oil – Used to draw in inspiration
Small doodles – Used to represent that we want to draw in inspiration for creativity
Water – To fill the jar the rest of the way and to cleanse the small jar
Instructions:
Start by washing your small jar well to clean it of dirt, debris, and negative energies.
On your piece of paper write down the following intent:
"This jar is a magnet for inspiration and brings bursts of inspiration my way so I may (Insert your creative goal here)."
Cleanse your anise seeds or oil in whatever way you see fit.
Focus on the inspiration behind your doodles and focus on that while you add your doodles to the jar.
If using anise seeds instead of anise oil add the seeds to the jar focusing on the following intent:
"These anise seeds grow into bouts of inspiration so I may (Insert your creative goal here)."
Add water to fill the rest of the small jar.
If using anise oil instead of anise seeds add 3-5 drops focusing on the following intent:
"The anise oil is bursting with inspiration and allows me to (Insert your creative goal here)."
Cap the jar.
Shake the jar to really mix everything together.
If turning it into an amulet:
10. Cut the twine long enough to wrap around the bottle neck several times plus the amount needed to make your amulet to the desired length.
11. Wrap the twine around the neck of the jar leaving some wiggle room in the middlemost strand.
12. Taking both ends of the twine thread them through the middlemost strand in an x pattern.
13. Tie the twine in a knot to complete the amulet’s cord.
14. Finalize the spell jar by melting down some light blue wax and pouring it over the top to seal it.

method:
start by lighting your candle and cleansing your goblet. take your cinnamon stick and carve a message or a sigil. i decided to write the words “i love myself”.
pour your drink in the goblet and start stirring it counter-clockwise while chanting “i banish all hatred towards myself” until it feels enough.
stir clockwise and chant “i welcome only love and contentment towards myself” again, until it feels enough.
hold onto your crystal or object and say “with each sip, i destroy all self hatred and let nothing but love flow into my body”
drink your beverage slowly, visioning the love flowing into your body and driving out all the negative feelings you have towards yourself.

Beginner witchcraft spell books share a bunch of spells that are usually a little complicated, or require loads of ingredients, herbs, crystals, tools, etc. They're normally quite visually loud and fanciful, which don't get me wrong, I love and many of us do.
But what I find isn't considered enough is that these sorts of spells are actually quite inaccessible for many beginners. If you're just starting out on a brand new spiritual journey, would you really want to go out and spend a whole bunch of £££ before you even actually cast a spell? Will you want to even perform magic that someone you know could easily question you about? Maybe you'd prefer to practice quietly for the meantime, whilst you're testing out whether you actually like this path or not.
In my latest video I give 5 spells in accordance with these things. Super simple and easy spells that any beginner can practice and adapt to their own preference.
Before I begin I want to preface that this is my late father's recipe. He was a great cook and made this for my family once every 3 months. The image above shows a small batch of the sauce i made a few years back. The recipe ingredients has not changed but intention has been added to the ingredients. This recipe is very near and dear to my heart and I hope you can try it and experience it for yourself. With that said let's get into the post.
Before you begin I wanted to make you aware that the sauce takes about 8 hours for the ingredients to mesh so you’ll want to start that in the morning if you plan on having it for dinner. It’s recommended by my father before he passed to let it mesh overnight on simmer for added flavor.
You’ll need:
A crock pot – for simmering the sauce
A pan – for browning the meat
A saucepan – for boiling the pasta
Angel Hair Pasta – The noodles
For the sauce:
4 cans of Hunts 4 cheese tomato sauce – This is the sauce base
2 bay leaves – Used to draw in finances
5-8 shakes of Italian seasoning (about 1-2 tbs) – Contains things like basil oregano and rosemary and is used to bring financial abundance and promote good health
5-8 shakes of garlic powder (about 2-3tsp) – Used to banish financial worries
1 1/2tsp fresh garlic (with juices) – Used to banish financial worries
Pinch of salt – Used to protect from things that drain you financially
¾ container of kraft parmesan romano – Used to add flavor and texture
Locatelli pecorino romano to taste (recommended loosely filled 1/4-1/2cup) – Used to dilute the sweetness of the sauce and add some tartness back in.
For the meat,
2lb of lean ground beef – to add to the sauce
2 shakes of Italian seasoning (about 1tsp) – Contains things like basil oregano and rosemary and is used to bring financial abundance and promote good health
2 shakes garlic powder (about 1tsp) – Used to banish financial worries
1/2tsp fresh garlic without juices – Used to banish financial worries
Instructions:
In your crock pot add the 4 cans of hunts, parmesan romano, and pecorino romano.
Mix and set crock pot to low. (You want to ensure that the sauce does not boil)
In a pan add 2lbs ground beef.
On the meat sprinkle on Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and fresh garlic without juices and focus on the intent of each ingredient as you add it and mix.
Brown the meat breaking it up into small chunks.
Drain the browned meat of any excess oil from the browning process.
Add drained browned meat into the sauce and mix.
Add the remaining ingredients for the sauce while focusing on the intent of each item as you go.
Stir clockwise to draw in financial abundance and money as you mix. You can also optionally stir in a money sigil.
Allow the sauce to simmer for at least 8 hours stirring occasionally as this allows all those spices and cheeses to mesh in the sauce.
Add 2-4 quartz of water to your sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Add in however many servings of angel hair pasta that you’ll be serving.
Cook the pasta as directed on the box and strain.
Plate your spaghetti, add sauce, and optionally top with parmesan romano, pecorino romano, or both.
Enjoy your pasta optionally pairing it with a nice red wine or glass of soda if you aren’t a drinker.
Additional Note: According to my Italian family it’s considered good luck if your plate contains a bay leaf in the sauce.
