Tell me about the fleetpace dynamic?
Didn't expect to wake up and see someone interested in Fleetpace but im glad you asked!! (○｀ 3′○)
I think to understand them more i'll write about what me and my beloved thinking about AU firstly, and then go on more about those two
I dunno if someone need a spoiler warning for a comic from 1993 but yall are warned ig
In the original comic, Ebony combined Fleetway and Sonic back together using a spell right? well i thought what if she just banished him to another dimension, which was Pace's world. It would be like in the right place at the right time (kinda), cuz he would spawn right
when Pace's body and mind was taken over by Shadow. Fleetway was a bit drained before teleporting, so him being in this dimension kinda like a blessing to him, Shadow is a pure chaos energy after all. I think Fleetway could defeat Shadow tbf, not gonna powerscale them but yk it's kinda like a darkness and light fight, it would be fitting and Fleet would gain more and more power while fighting him. And after that's when Pace and Fleetway met. Fleet would beat the shit outta Pace I'm not gonna lie, it's a damn Super Sonic we talking about dawg its like you booted up a game and already need to beat the final boss, he has never fought anyone as powerful as him lol. But the more Fleetway spends time with Pace, then more Pace would grow to stand up for himself, and sooner be more experienced in a fight. Pace also probably heals fast, he’s still a Sonic after all (which is better for Fleetway and worse to Pace lmao, he’s like a chew toy).
But they don't always fight and stuff, Fleetway loves to terrorize him in life in general. Like coming to his house at night to scare or just annoy and mock him, he aint leaving this funny lil guy cause he loves how he reacts on stuff, he finds him interesting (it’s just his love language, he’s a “bit” clingy and braindead). And It’s even scarier to Pace that he doesn't know what's on Fleetway’s mind like man that bitch is chaotic as hell, they can stare at each other, and while one is thinking “when will he attack? what is he doing?” other think “lol he so stupid and scared”. They have different perspective on this, its more like fun and games to Fleetway, to Pace well uhh…it’s FNAF 4 Secret night hardmode real no cap
Although it would change Pace in a bad way at least with Fleetway. Like, adrenaline, fear and anger automatically kicks in when he’s with him and same goes from Fleetway side of view (but without fear yea). They have ragemode on each other yk. Tho he’s still a sweetheart, with friends he’s just the same Pace, later they will see his aggressive side, just not towards them. Like if someone was bullying one of his friends, he would jump on them bru. And he would be more tired out because of Fleetway, Pace doesn't sleep well thanks to this orange piece of hedgehog terrorizing him 24\7. And i don’t think they will know about this soon enough to help him, Pace would never want them (including parents) to be in danger cause of Fleet, so he thinks he can handle it himself
And yall know that before Shadow there wasn't really some villain, or a danger in general
well Fleetway will help them with that chat✌✌✌
I also just like their differences visually, while Fleetway have more warm tones and sharp edges, Pace is more cold toned and softer.
Just think its interesting, to place such a cute, soft and scared creature next beside evil fucked up chaotic beast
Personally It's easier for me to show their dynamic in art then text, but it’s nice to give more context and thoughts about them to people. Maybe we will do some kind of fanfic or something with them, but time will tell bru. It would be nice to write about more characters in AU, like Ebony and Pyjamas but in Black Sun universe, so yeahh
