I just realized that I have tons of material from the last few chapters that didn't make the ultimate cuts because of time/flow/whatever reasons.

Would anyone like to read any of it? It's mostly just adorable bullshit.

Chapter 20 up and ready to read. It's not my best work (I'm so sorry!) but I'd written up to a point where I needed a filler chapter and got suck at an awful point in my life where inspiration and a joie de vivre was hard to find.

There's a few cute points,, we get to see Mindfang's private ship (BLESS YOU to the individual who messaged me to ask about her ships as it really inspired me; I can't remember your name or I' thank you properly!!!) and a few other moments that I like.

Also, sorry (not sorry) for the ending.

Dear Deep Waters, Strange Bedfellows Readers,

OKAY EVERYONE. HERE IS THE DEAL. Right now I am attempting to decide between getting to the plot as in "holy shit what is this author doing to canon I love her" (hopefully) or doing a little more worldbuilding.

Are we cool with the worldbuilding? I'd love to expand upon the religious structure-- right now I"m dealing with a sort of papal state, where the Empress functions both as a religious figure and as a governmental figure, with the jade caste sort of as priestesses and shit and I'd like to introduce religion as a form of political statement and subversion 8ECAUSE REASONS.

But I also don't want any of the 30 or so of you who have kept going with me (I love you all) to decide "wow this is boring" and not get to the good parts.
