It's getting a bit late to make an interview but as you may know, Jack Wright a.k.a Jackal never sleeps. He's always producing or listening music and tonight we had a little chat about his label Bedbunk Records and his music in general...

How did you start producing music?

I first start producing about 2 or 3 years ago, as my brother started and it seemed like fun, so i thought I'd give it a try.

What about your label? Tell me more about it...

I thought it would be cool to have a side project going alongside producing and djing, and that seemed like a good idea. --- its mainly to try promote the various artists that i enjoy listening to, its not for the money but purely giving artists the chance I had of a labels backing.

A lot of good producers come from the UK, is it hard to find your place?

Yeah its hard but as soon as you find your own distinct sound people pick up on it more and people appreciate the sound you have, if its good that is

Have you ever collaborate with french producers?

No I havent actually, I've done a remix for Goldhammer, and released some French artists but thats about it. I would like to though because I like the variation they put on house & bass music

What artists are you listening these days?

At the minute I'm mainly listening to people such as mele, lil silva, hannah wants, French Fries, Woz and Foamo

that really is a hard question.

Name your favorite track ever (hard one hehe)

I really can't name one track. However I can say that I think Gold Bricks, I See You by Mosca,and the various versions of Wile Out by DJ Zinc would be high up on my list of favorite tracks.
