Twilight grew up in Ordon a very small community , deep in the woods near Hateno ( the town the story takes place in ).

Ordon was a safe space for magical beings , were they could live without fear or the need to hide.

Because of this Twilight has a lot of knowledge on a lot of different beings.

It was protected by both the knights origination and the recident werewolf pack that Twi was part of. Along with Midna and Dusk ( tw Zelda )

They grew up together and were the best of friends.

But one night the settlement was attacked and in the chaos Midna and Twi got separated from the others as they tried to get away from the attackers that chased after them.

They eventually made it out of the trees and into the road where Twi got hit by a car ✨

He woke up 2 days later in a hospital and was told that when more knights agents had arrived no one was there . Meaning he might be the only survivor.

second of all, i’d find it really insulting if the only time they decided to portray “realism” was for will byers.

stranger things has always been a show of idealism. the odds are 100 to 1. but it’s always the 1. that’s how a good show is. you portray exciting GOOD outcomes. healing for people who didn’t have that. giving the audience hope.

if they wanted to have a “realistic storyline” they could have chosen any of the couples who challenge societal norms.

max and lucas? nancy and jonathan? robin and vickie? all of these relationships could have had “realistic 80’s norms” outcomes. but they didn’t. they didn’t.

why would they reserve the “realistic” outcome for the kid who’s had nothing but trauma for 5 seasons straight. the one who’s queer identity and love for his best friend has been built more than any other arc in the show. why THEN would they choose to give him a rejection out of the “reality that queer people sometimes are in love with someone who won’t love them back”
