This is Beans, the Filoli cat, who was found years ago sleeping in a pot of beans (hence his name) in the greenhouse and has simply never left. He has many important tasks, such as keeping down the rodent population, napping on any convenient chair, and making the rounds to check that his employees are doing their job. At night he is locked into the greenhouse to prevent him being attacked by predators. 12/10 a most excellent cat. Not to be superlative, but I would die for Beans.
