I’ve always felt the need to be cautious about letting myself rely on someone even for the smallest of things, I don’t want someone to know when I need them... to admit when I need them because it hurts twice as much when you’re left feeling like they’ve let you down.

That regardless of how fiercely independent you want people to think that you are, sometimes there are moments that you need reassurance, reassurance that you’re still wanted, still desirable.

I probably haven’t gotten too personal and written a lot on tumblr lately. I’ve posted a few things here and there but not much. I feel like over the last 12 months I’ve been going through a lot of changes. Like you know where you just get to that point and something has to give, something needs to happen. I wasn’t unhappy but I felt like I did so much for other people and gave so much of myself away that I didn’t have anything left for me and I rarely got the same effort in return.
