Yet the crinkling of his eyes betrayed humor.  Of course, Rhuna was no longer the same kid he’d known her to be back in the day. She’s infinitely stronger, more capable. There was no need for concern and yet...  The sound of his cane as he limps forward to survey the scene below rings louder in the quietude of his office.  “That is most certainly the case.
