💛Beaudille💛 Knit patch 91 with me. Perfect racetime knitting 🏁
Beaudille - new yarn cake update
It's ✨WIP Wednesday✨ and I just started yarn cake 5, so it's time for a little progress montage.
Only 97 more patches to go. By this schedule, that'll be December 2027 😅
But that's okay. I like knitting. I'm happy I get to spend another 2 years with her.
Patch 163 - Teeny Tiny Triangles
All that work, only for it to barely show up in this yarn 😭

Patch 122 - Broken Rib
This is the 100th patch I've filmed and posted. Only 150 more to go!
Patch 92 - Avoiding p2tog-tbl
Understanding stitch anatomy means you don't have to suffer through fiddly stitches if you don't want to.
Just as an skpo (slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over) is a perfect substitue for an ssk (slip, slip, knit 2 together through the back loop), so ppnso (purl 1, move to left needle, pass next stitch over) is the perfect substitute for a p2tog-tbl (purl 2 together through the back loop).
💛Beaudille💛 Knit patch 92 with me.
I hate purling doubles or triples through the back loop, especially in cotton like this, where there is no give.
It's good to know your stitch geometry, to know what result you're trying to achieve, so you can find alternative ways to get there.
I did the p2tog-tbl for this video, but never again. I'm a ppnso girl all the way.
