There’s no trust without US. Yesterday was one of those experiences that reminds you what all the work is for. I took so many pictures with people who are now new #fans because they saw and respect what i do first hand. I owe these 3 guys so much. @bcmusic1st for tolerating me for years and for always being there no matter what (he was on my set in the heat despite this being day 26 of a water fast!!) @distantdee for believing in me as much as he believes in himself and for always being open and honest, he is my compass. And @mikestreetshow for stepping up to the plate 100% as an advocate for #artists like myself right here in #Richmond and pitching us for the @1065thebeat #beatfest2018 bill and stage. To know that he identifies with my journey in regards to how he got his start on the #radio as a #dj and for him to be so vocal about that is such a humbling thing. here we all are now after so many years of challenges and sacrifices, with still more on the horizon to face, having made a life of this #music and #culture that we are all so passionate about.
