Bear Archery Wild
The Bear Wild was my first foray into the bowhunting world. After doing some research after taking my Bowhunter Safety Course, I landed upon the Wild.
The Bear Wild is the perfect entry bow for any new bowhunter. With a draw weight range of 40-70 lbs and a draw length range of 24″-31″, the Bear Wild could fit any hunter no matter the size as they enter into the world of bowhunting.
While not the fastest bow on the market with a respectable IBO speed of 310 fps, the Wild had the reproducibility that Bear Archery is known for. The archery traditions laid forth by Fred Bear have not been lost over time.
Bear Archery no longer makes the Wild, and I myself have moved on to bigger (and more expensive) bows, you can still pick one up used and it would be a fantastic investment for the new bowhunter.
