Yeah, but the whole thing gets a bit more convoluted because while Venti did give Dvalin the gnosis just before dying, it's still very much connected to Celestia and tied to the Anemo Archon's throne there. Kinda like giving away an entire safe full of money but it's still very much In the Safe and you can't really get to it unless it's cracked open. Something like that

Another thing is that...Dvalin doesn't know the Thing about the gnosis, uses it once, and then just kinda abandons it somewhere in his super secret domain, straight up wants nothing to do with it anymore

Having it felt right in a way, but also wrong, and also sad. Because y'know, having it is also a reminder that Venti's gone and never coming back

My brutally honest opinion about joshneku is that I adore it and it was like my first true and powerful otp that consumed my life. I’ve written essays about these two and how much they mean to me, and how great I think they are, man.

Just... The way Joshua needles Neku and gets under his skin and is someone he can relate to despite how much he annoys him, and the way Neku gets Joshua to reassess his beliefs about Shibuya and pushes him back from the edge of giving up on the world and himself, and how Neku still trusts Josh despite all of the shit he put him through, and Josh bringing Neku and everyone back despite having won and not really having any obligation to set things right. 

I still lose my mind over Dream Drop Distance, cuz in my heart it will always be a post twewy situation, and seeing Neku reaching out to Josh and asserting that he’s his friend and Shibuya is his home and that he wants to see him again, just makes me feel so happy after the end of twewy. I love how they push and motivate each other in ways they don’t expect, how this powerful bond of trust forms under circumstances where you wouldn’t expect it to, how that trust and friendship is what ultimately makes it so Neku cannot bring himself to kill Joshua, and causes Joshua to go back on his plans and renews his faith in Shibuya.
