like subconsciously I know that it’s lesbian beans my brain doesn’t process it that way lol

of course! as i have mentioned before in posts, i am a college/high school student (technically high school but i do college classes) and do a lab. in that lab i work with kids ages 3-5 and ive noticed a lot of things that make me slightly upset about the way that child bakugou was written. for example, him thinking that deku was looking down on him when he fell into the stream. no 4 year old would think that, they'd be a bit too busy accepting the help, because thats what children do. children who are around 3-5 years old are incredibly trusting and dependent, no matter what the environment around them is like. the thought that someone is better than someone else doesnt even cross their mind unless it is implied heavily by the adults around them, and that only really happens when the adults around them are bigoted. and at that point in the story, im pretty sure that deku hadnt been diagnosed as quirkless yet, so bakugou would have had no problem accepting the help, even if he thought he was strong enough to do it himself. even if he had a problem accepting the help, it wouldnt have affected their relationship that much because, again, they were 4. they would have probably forgotten about it as soon as they had a snack or something else more exciting happened. while there are certain 4 year olds who are more mature, they still dont make a big deal out of getting help from their peers. bakugou, if he was written as a realistic 4 year old, would have accepted the help and gone to an adult like children are taught to.
