Softness was not something that Thanatos was well-known for. Most people thought of him as an ominous figure, at least that was what the myths tried to paint him as. It felt like no matter how hard he tried to distance himself from that grim reaper image, people were scared of him. Ariadne had always been kind though, and he appreciated that. So, sure, he might not have been soft, but he liked to reward kindness. He gave the woman her coffee, sliding over a croissant with it, “It’s on the house.”
