he's kinda like one of those grunge skater dudes from the 90s. he doesn't go too hard on things and often goes about life in a really chill and almost detached way. it may look like he doesn't take anything seriously but he absolutely can, he just doesn't like doing it because it scares him a little.

he's got quite a handful of insecurities buried under that too-relaxed façade, most of them surrounding the nature of his bio parents stoathawk and driftwood and the whole being-given-up-at-birth thing. it's not that it was hidden from him and his sister, but it is something that weighs on him daily. he prefers to not dwell in the past and the heavier side of it and instead tries to get along with them when they visit the farm, contrast to his sister who struggles to do so because she thinks about it all the time.

he loves his adoptive family a lot, especially his momma shoshana and his big brother sable. he may get along w stoat and drift but ultimately the cats who actually raised him will come first. his slacker personality does piss off ermine but other than that he and ermine do well together as father/son.

he loves his sister dearly and the two are inseparable and the best of friends despite how totally different they are.
