One more shot at forgiveness | Kuzco + Mel
It had taken weeks for him to finally build up the courage to go. Once Tink had been hospitalized of all things, it became rather clear to him the one thing he could try to do to make things a little bit better for her. Maybe it wouldnāt be much, maybe at this point it would be a ridiculous effort to brighten her day, but it was long overdue for him to do this, and Kuzco was sick and tired of being a llama whenever something bothered him, or when someone touched him.
And so, he slowly, very slowly made his way back toward the place that was his terrorās home. He didnāt even know the womanās name, but that was hardly the most important thing. He had managed to get a box of chocolates, not very impressive, but he also brought her a llama plushy, for the irony, and, he figured, it might at least make the woman laugh. Maybe that would get her to undo it too.Ā
Whatever thing he could do, he was willing to try. The llama curse was...it was taxing, and he wasnāt sure he could do anything else to try to get rid of it. She was it. And so, he stood at her door, staring at it for a good ten minutes before he finally got the nerve to knock on her door several times. Once he had done it enough to be noticed, he stepped back, mildly afraid that she might jump out at him if he was too close. This was the moment of reckoning...and he didnāt need another curse added to the list.
