As you all know, the BDJ fair is that one event that my friend, Ejay, and I cannot miss. It became our yearly tradition and basically our excuse to force ourselves to go out because we really need to catch up on a lot of things.

10.14.12: Limitless - Belle De Jour (BDJ) Fair 2012
It all started when I was randomly going through my inbox and saw an e-mail from Belle De Jour (BDJ) about their 2012 BDJ Fair. I really wanted to go ‘cause I miss going to events and writing about them. Besides, it’s sembreak so I was also looking for something interesting to do and somewhere interesting to go. Hee.
THE DAY OF THE FAIR!
I got to Mall of Asia (MOA) kind of just in time for the talk where I was pre-registered— the “Bloggers Extraordinaire"— which was the third segment out of six talks and segments during the fair.
The fashionable Kat Dy hosted the first part of the event
The pretty and perky Patty Laurel was the first speaker for the said talk. She seemed really nice and even shared some personal experiences about her teenage years which enabled her to develop the love for traveling! She also revealed that she really saves and plans ahead for all her trips. Moreover, she gave other tips which I’m sure she’d love to share with everyone :D
The second speaker was Tricia Gosingtian. And I guess there’s no need for further introduction or description about her! Her segment was called "One Haute Blog" and she gave tips on how to market yourself as a fashion blogger
After the talks, I got to go around the place and visit several booths. It was kinda exhausting to walk around and check which booths have the shortest lines ‘cause people were just all over the place and it was getting hotter! I tried to be more patient though and just visited as many booths as I can.
Oh look, this pup’s ready for Halloween!
While I was booth-hopping, the "Beauty Bootcamp" segment was ongoing and I just had to stop by for a while ‘cause one of my fave local celebs was the speaker!
Gorge-ina Wilson!
Then I had to get back in the line together with one of my BFFs who accompanied me to the fair! So glad she agreed to go with me! Hihihi. I could’ve *croo croo*-ed all throughout the fair and just get rotten while waiting in line— particularly in the crazy line of Bauhaus Tarot Reading Booth. It was so in demand that people had to wait in line for about 1-2hrs!
When it was finally my turn, I was given the chance to ask 3 questions and pick 4 cards per question. The “answers" to my questions were pretty much pleasing and positive.
1. Stick with your course and continue what you’re doing right now no matter how hard it seems. In the end, it will all be worth it.
2. You will have a “fruitful relationship" when the right time and right man comes. It is most likely that you’ll even meet him in one of your trips or while you’re traveling.
3. You will be successful someday and have a successful career. Just make sure that you don’t make hasty decisions. Think carefully before doing something because this might put you in danger or harm you.
I loike the second one! At least I don’t get to grow old sitting alone in my rocking chair while knitting. Hahaha. But ohwell, I just tried it out for kicks and I’m not really one who depends on things like these.
And just like that the sun is gone! Still, we decided to visit a few more booths before actually leaving.
Origami challenge!
Finally, I super wanted to go bungee jumping and it’s even on my bucket list, so I was really really itching to try it out! I was kinda nervous but I was more excited!
While we were in the line, there were several talks and a fashion show on the stage
The second part of the fair was hosted by Monster Radio RX 93.1’s DJ/alumnus from my school, Karen Bordador
"Fierce Fashions" segment with Donna Cuna-Pita
SM Fashion Show
Mother Divine Lee so pretty, as always!
I also got surprised when Ms. Kat Dy approached me while I was waiting for my turn to go bungee jumping. She took a photo of me and asked for my name and blog! Of course I couldn’t say no even if I was looking all shizzy already!
She was too nice I just had to take a photo with her as well!
After my photo op with Ms. Kat, I also realized that it was almost my turn to bungee jump! Weeee~
If these kids were able to do it, then I don’t have an excuse to back out!
So here goes a slideshow/mini documentation of my first-ever bungee jumping experience!
IT WAS SOSOSOSO FUUUNN! It’s not really super scary, it just feels like you’re flyingggg! You’ll feel so light and carefreee!~ I felt fungry after though, so we really had to leave the fair already and grab something to eeeaaat!
I got the Cookie Monster crepe which was around P120+, I think?
While we were eating, a cute kid also sat beside us while her mom was buying her ice cream! She was singing Dora’s “where are we going?" and she’s not a snob unlike other kids.
After eating, we decided to stroll until it was time for the mall to close.
I could say that my first BDJ fair experience was really really fun and memorable! This is definitely not going to be my last BDJ Fair! Merci beaucoup, BDJ! Thank you for being accommodating; for taking my photos; and most importantly, for making me feel that I’m a limitless bella! And ofc, thank you so much to my Kabitt who accompanied me and took photos of me! Also, thanks to the random people who were so nice to flash their smiles at me! Until next year!
Finally! I get to attend the BDJ 2012 Fair that was held last Sunday, October 14! The venue was just perfect. Even though I originally planned to go together with my sister, her not being able to, didn't stopped me.
I was rushing that day coz I wanna be early and get to be there by 10 or 11am for the "Style Me Over" talk that I pre-registered for. And you know what? Forgetful me was not able to charge the battery for the digicam the night before. And I only remembered when I just stepped out of the house. I almost forgot to bring it! So, I went back and had it charged for like 10-15 minutes. And I was like, ugh, "I don't have any choice but to deal with just a few photos".
When I arrived and reached the Music Hall, I immediately claimed the VIP Charity Pass and registered for the talk/activity "Style Me Over" by Jasmine Mendiola. I then roamed around first to briefly check out the booths. I was in line for the photobooth when I heard that the talk I pre-registered for, was about to start. I immediately rushed off to the main tent.
This is Jasmine Mendiola
And this is her demonstrating or showing the Cool Tone/Color
While this is for the Warm Tone/Color
I just got inspired again and I really want my plan to take up a Basic Makeup Workshop to push through this year.
And what do we have here? Oh! Surprises or goodies aren't prepared just for the participants, but also for the Speaker.
Here's Kat Dy, anouncing winners that will receive a pair of pants/jeans from Bauhaus.
I was thinking, in the vernacular words "I hope she shakes or mix it so those at the bottom will be mixed up". I was looking at her hand and the bowl, and then, taadaa!!! My name was called. I won! Yaaay! I'm currently checking out the event page and someone blogged about it. On her blog post is a photo that includes me! :) Check it out here.
I fitted it, and oh my! It's for someone who has long legs. If i have it cut, then it won't be skiiny jeans anymore. Hmmmmm... I'm thinking of something... Can anyone guess?
I've checked the catalog included. I must say, I love their Salad Jeans and Tough Jeans collections.
Oh well, moving on. They hosted some games too.
Mae Ilagan of WhenInManila was also there.
Patty Laurel sharing tips and talking about traveling.
Tricia Gosingtian is ♥ ♥ ♥!
Georgina Wilson talking about proper skin care.
Looky here! I met Sylvia during the Style Me Over talk. I got myself an accompany. She also has a blog and was her first time to attend such an event.
Haggardness...
Wasn't able to get the oh-so-cute swirl lollipop after so many tries. Haha!
Roxy and DC Womens booth
Just 1 shoe and 1 ball left, they even gave me an extra ball, but still no luck.
It was my first time to do wall climbing, and boy I was so nervous. I was wearing a wedge so just went with my bare feet instead. Last shot that was taken. Battery got empty. 2 or 3 more stones left to reach the top but the gap was very big, It's far and I can't reach it. It was a great experience though. Another achievement for my pledge to live life to the fullest and try extra-ordinary things I haven't done!
Fewer people compared to how it was around 2-6 PM.
These are all the goodies/flyers/vouchers/cash coupons I got from Goody, Skin White, Cosmopolitan and Metro Magazine, Roxy, Garnier, DC Shoes, Free Fish, Ace Water Spa, Flipsters, Michelis, Black Beauty, Strip, Kimstore, John Robert Powers, Subic Grand Seas Resort, Montagne Jeunesse, The Spa Wellness, Skin Dermatology & Laser Center, IKMFP Krav Maga, Azta Urban Salon, Pet Express, Nissin, Jack n Jill, Nestle, and C2 Green Tea.
Looks like I already have the same issue of Cosmo Magazine. Have you figured it out? Yep! I'm gonna have a giveaway. So better stay tuned for that.
And lastly, am I not gonna buy the 2013 BDJ Planner? Well, that's the main reason for it all.
Anya is live and ready to show you everything. Watch her strip, dance, and perform exclusive shows just for you. Interact in real-time and make your fantasies come true.

So I was in Belle de Jour Fair on Oct 14, 2012 held in Mall of Asia Music Hall. The event was huge, there were a lot of freebies! And since I read that there will be a lot of sports related activities, I wore a simple white tshirt, black sports pedal and a pair of Adidas running shoes. But most of the girls were wearing pumps, pretty dresses, makeups and their hair looks like it took an hour for prep. They were in for the glamour event of course! :)
So after lessons from Krav Maga instructors, wall climbing, checking out booths and running around for the scavenger hunt games, I also wanted to attend one of the talks of the guests on stage. PJ Lanot's speech about Life Lessons. :) I attended events on BDJ back then and PJ inspired me about things I forgot I wanted so much. Things that used to made me dream and he made it seem that no matter how down you were, its okay because good or bad things happen to you, its still an experience and it could be the reason for your success in life.
He charmed us good! One event I remembered, after his talk-- All the girls went to line up to take pictures with him! (Including me, HAH!). So when I heard him talking on stage during the bdj fair, I hurriedly signed up for my seat... I was a little late, so when I got there, there were hardly any seats! Place was packed and the audience listens intensely at him. I struggle a seat at the very back row. And for some reason, he looked at me and smiled! *Tunaw* :))
As always the talk went great, the ladies on their seats were looking up to him like a mentor like I do. At a young age, he already owns restaurants and he seems to have it all and he makes it look so easy and that fires everyone up. So as his talk ends, he went straight to the staff and they took pictures together. A lot of girls in the audience were fidgeting on their seats holding up their cameras and wait for a chance to ask him for a picture. I packed mine in my bagpck since I do not look so glamorous and dolled up like everybody else in the audience. I was sweaty because of running, my hair tied to a bun and no make-up at all.
When I was having my thoughts on my own, I noticed PJ walked past the crowd and soon he was behind me. His eyes were directly at mine and said "Hey! I recognize you! You're the girl from facebook!" He smiled. I literally froze and I swear I have my eyes wide open! He recognizes me? I mean he has a lot of fans in facebook and he recognizes me!!! It took seconds before I responded and I shook his hands and unconsciously put it on my face! (WTF!? THAT WAS SO WEIRD OF ME! Kainis! CRUSH KO KASE, SORRY NAMAN!) Hahahahha! We had a little talk about his BRGR Burger Project restaurant at the Grand Towers, Taft. He also added that their opening another branch in Jupiter St., Makati!
So after our small talk, he went out and it looks like he was in a hurry. I looked in front and a LOT of the girls were facing me! They were looking at me the same way I look at the girls back on his other talks who approach him and he seems to know them. Wondering who they were and I wished I could have a chance like that too.... And now, these ladies maybe wondering who "I" was. It was an awesome feeling! He made me feel so special! Usually during his talks, one of the ladies would tell him that they went to some of his motivational speech and asks if he remembers them. He just smiles back and politely thanks them for supporting. PERO AKO TANDA NYA! ANG SAYA KO LANG! SINO BA KO? WALA LANG NAMAN.
It feels so fulfilling na malalaman mo hindi ka lang isang little dot on a sea of people. You don't need to put make-up or dress up all the time to get noticed kasi you get to anticipate for something to make you feel you're special. Hindi ako ready nun, teh! I wished I had but then it wouldn't feel the same way it made me feel that time. And I needed that, thanks PJ Lanot! You have a way of touching people's hearts! :) IDOL!!!
