      ❝  You’ve been using again.  ❞    She knew the very moment she saw him. The way his eyes seemed tired and bloodshot ; the sadness in his expression was all too familiar. Naturally, she couldn’t let it go unnoticed or ignored. Not when she knew just how overpowering his addiction could be. She had seen it first hand after all. 

I love so many things about Bedelia, she’s truly an amazing character. I love how multidimensional she is and the mystery that surrounds her even after years, you can see glimpses of her emotions, but there is so much more than you don’t see. I think that’s really the main thing, she stays mysterious and quite distant, but she also has feelings and emotions that become visible sometimes. She’s strong and intelligent, but she can also be vulnerable. So the duality of her character is also one of my favourite things. Also her wardrobe, 10/10 inspiration for me

“Is just me way of coping, sir.” He muttered, eyes firmly closed. He wouldn’t look at the Inspector. He knew he wasn’t subtle, often practically ran to the car park to ‘have a bit of a cry’ as Miles would say, but he didn’t exactly tell people. “I know, it’s a bit soft an’ all, but it just gets a bit much, y’know.” He said, shrugging his shoulders.
