       "thank god you're here." aiden sighed, relief clear in his tone as warm brown orbs finally spotted his ex-girlfriend. although the male shouldn't be happy to see her after how things ended between them this time was different. after a lot of convincing, the female had finally agreed to pretend to still be his girlfriend for the weekend. the pair was staying at his family's summer house and for some reason, one he wouldn't admit to anyone, he hadn't found the courage to tell anyone about their breakup, not even his twin sister. maybe because he hadn't come to terms with it himself, maybe because telling his family would make it so...final. "thank you for doing this," a soft smile was pulling at the corner of his lips as he got her bags out of the trunk, thanking his driver for picking her up at the airport."was your flight okay?"

“stay away from each other?” the raven-haired male repeated the other’s words, a small frown appearing between dark brows as he looked at them from a distance. a slight scoff left his petals and he briefly shook his head. “where’s the fun in that?”

for the third night in a row, aurora was ushering her date for that night out of her penthouse at 3 am, assuring that she would call him, even though they both knew she probably wouldn’t. at this point, the redhead was a bit surprised that she still had celebrities to date; but she couldn’t really be blamed for being lonely. after pulling on a satin robe, aurora draped herself over her loveseat, holding her iphone up to frame her face. “hey, fuckface,” she quipped when the facetime was finally answered, “so, do you want to hear about my latest conquest, or can we just skip over that?” she leaned back, draping her long curls over the arm of the couch. “because i promise you, it wasn’t noteworthy. not even the sex.”

“so i heard you went on a date.” angie told the other, an amused hint hidden in her countenance though she tried not to make it seem like she was making fun of the other, since she wanted the truth. “didn’t know that was your kind of thing to be honest.”

She’d been dragged out by members of her dance crew because apparently she had been flaking out on plans more than she’d realized. Protesting at first to no avail she eventually decided to just float at the bar, buying a few icy cold shots of Crown Royal Apple to get herself out of her usual frame of mind. The drums of the music courses through her veins, and she finds herself letting go of her inhibitions because after all, fuck it. It’s just one night right? Not like the shop would decide to spontaneously combust in her absence.  Feeling bold, she pushes away from the bar and crosses the room to stand before the man who had been exchanging gazes with her since she got here. “So you wanna dance or are you just going to play eye tag with me all night?” She questions him, always straight to the point.                                                   [ @bcldwin ]
