Kajukenbo sticks together!! As @amacliny, American Martial Arts Centers undergoes some difficulties - from broken heat, to burst pipes, and other issues that are not being fixed in a timely matter, due to the buildings management. We are working with #AMAC instructors to make sure AMAC students do not give up on their martial arts training; or worse have to start over elsewhere. In this time of need, this is when our #Ohana comes together. To tell you a little about myself, I am a 4th degree black belt under Si Gung Adam Yasso and Sr Grand Master Kingi. I have been training under Si Gung Adam for over 17 years. I am also a #StateChampion, and #WorldChampion, #SportKarate competitor, #Kickboxer and #MMA #fighter. Before #SiGung left for the Navy, he helped me open #TheHitPit: Fitness and MMA which is, and forever will be the sister school to AMAC. #TheHitPit in Island Park is where I teach Si Gung Adam’s exact #Kajukenbo curriculum; along with #boxing, #kickboxing, #BrazilianJiuJitsu (ranking under Professor Braulio Cuevas, #BCBJJ/#SocaBJJ) and various #circuittraining classes for members and non-members. We welcome ALL #AmericanMartialArtsCenters students to train two months completely FREE, and then 75% off after that, at THE HIT PIT; whenever it is convenient for you. #Sibak Nuria (@nuribere) will be teaching Saturdays starting THIS WEEK! We are 100% open to making Saturdays “AMAC Day”, meaning we are willing to change our Saturday schedule to fit the needs of parents and students of AMAC. I know it is a little bit out of the way for those in Bethpage, and Farmingdale, but it’s worth it to not sign you or your child up for a different style of #karate - causing them to be confused or less committed. Once again we honor all AMAC memberships, and plead with you to not give up on yours, or your child’s #martialarts journey. We open at 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9 am Saturdays.
