whenever petal has a seizure around lohen he is very quick to catch it, not all the time but often enough that it’s a habit. he will make sure to carefully hold petal in his arms while they both wait for it to pass. for the most part he’s quiet other than gentle reassurance and petting petal’s hair softly.

lohen got really used to doing this when they were growing so during a seizure petal feels most safe and protected if he has one around lohen. he always makes sure petal is positioned in a way he won’t suffocate or choke on anything and is as comfortable as one can be in that situation.

petal usually passes out mid seizure especially the more severe ones, but when he doesn’t he’ll usually try to ask for water or say he’s hungry once it calms down and lohen is very quick to remind him he has to at least wait 15 to 30 minutes after his seizures stop to do so. oftentimes petal is too tired to fight him on it and makes a groan before going back to resting lohen’s arms (assuming he sits up and says this that is).
