Ingredients: 4 cans 15 oz each of navy beans, drained and rinsed. 1 cup barbecue sauce. 1/2 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed. 1/4 cup molasses. 1 large onion, finely chopped. 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced. 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon mustard powder. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up. Put navy beans, ketchup, brown sugar, molasses, onion, bell pepper, bacon, garlic, mustard powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Combine well. Put the bean mixture in a baking dish. Put the beans in an oven that has already been heated for 45 to 50 minutes, or until they start to bubble and get thick. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down for a few minutes before you serve it.

Ingredients: 1 lb dried navy beans. 1 onion, finely chopped. 1/2 cup molasses. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup mustard. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. 1/2 tsp paprika. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. 6 cups water. 1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled.
Instructions: Rinse the navy beans and soak them in water overnight. Preheat the oven to 325F 163C. In a large pot, combine soaked beans and 6 cups of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Drain. In a mixing bowl, combine onion, molasses, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Stir the sauce mixture into the drained beans until well coated. Transfer the beans to a baking dish and top with crumbled bacon. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until the beans are tender and the top is caramelized. Serve hot and enjoy the summer flavors!

Ingredients: 12 medium-sized carrots, peeled and trimmed. 12 slices of bacon. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh parsley for garnish optional.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. To make the glaze, mix the olive oil, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper with a whisk in a small bowl. Put a piece of bacon around each carrot and secure it with toothpicks if you need to. Spread a lot of the maple glaze on all sides of the carrots that have been wrapped in bacon. Place the carrots wrapped in bacon on a hot grill and turn them over every so often to make sure they cook evenly and turn caramelized. Grill for about 15 to 20 minutes, basting often with the maple glaze, until the bacon is crispy and the carrots are soft. Take them off the grill and give them a minute or two to cool down. Add fresh parsley as a garnish if you like. Serve and enjoy the smoky, sweet, and salty tastes of these maple-glazed carrots wrapped in bacon!
