“I can be nice.” Max mumbled, he really didn’t want to go back into the trunk. Besides, he already knew that Daniel didn’t want to kill him. Not yet anyway, Christian hadn’t made him mad enough yet.

“Good.” Daniel crooned and opened the door. He hauled Max out, deftly releasing the cuffs that had him tied to the car. Daniel threw an arm around Max’s shoulder as he led them to the front office. “Be nice.” Daniel reminded as he reached for the door.

“I’m nice.” Max complained, gripping the back of Daniel’s shirt. He knew they looked together, and wondered if that was what Daniel was going for. Max figured he could help play it up a little more.

As Daniel leaned forward to greet and speak with the attendant joyfully, Max slipped his hand into the back pocket of Daniel’s jeans. Max’s heart thudded in his chest, his palm cupped Daniel’s cheek. Daniel didn’t flinch, but he did change his stance so that Max didn’t have to stretch. Max wondered if that was on purpose. 

He was staring, he knew. Staring at Daniel’s ass and his hand touching it. It was a nice ass from what he could feel and what he’d been seeing. He had no idea what Daniel was saying to the girl at the front desk, but Max jumped when he heard them both laugh. He looked up to see the girl staring right at him– the look on her face seemed jealous, maybe. Daniel looked back at Max and winked. 

Max knew his face was red.

The walk back to the car was quiet, the gravel crunchy underfoot. 

“Thank you for being nice.” Daniel said with a smile on his face. Max looked over at him.

“I told you I could be.” 

They stopped at the passenger door and Daniel crowded him into it, Max’s breath stopped. It was the only way to stop himself from moaning, truly. 

“Yes, you did. Didn’t you?” Daniel’s voice went lower and Max felt goosebumps on his skin.

“You should reward me then.” Max blurted and stilled, Daniel raised a brow at him. Max watched Daniel watching him, wondering what he was thinking.

Daniel smirked instead and Max felt decidedly caught.

Daniel opened the door behind him and ushered Max inside. He didn’t handcuff him, Max noticed. He could bolt right now while Daniel walked around the car. Run inside and beg the clerk to hide him or call for Christian.

But he didn’t.

Daniel looked over at him and started the car.

“Does Christian reward you Maxy? When you’re being a good boy?” Daniel asked, backing out of the space. Max felt the heat of the day on his skin already. He shook his head and Daniel maneuvered the parking lot.

“I bet he doesn’t.” Daniel continued.

“But you’re not Christian.” Max mumbled, hopefully.

“I’m not Christian.” Daniel confirmed. They stopped in front of a different building and Daniel leaned over– closer. “So what do you want?”

Max’s mouth went dry, his heart started thudding in his chest and ears. He was sure Daniel could hear it. 

“Fuck me.” Max whispered, pleading. It felt like it was all he ever wanted in life.

Daniel laughed and Max felt cold rejection. 

“For that? For being quiet back there? No negotiation just straight to it?” Daniel asked incredulously. “That asshole really neglected you huh?” Daniel muttered to himself. 

“Also I didn’t run away– you didn’t cuff me.” Max babbled, hoping by adding another thing it would be enough. Daniel tilted his head and looked at him.
