I recently got pulled for a chat by the owner of my home pole studio and they asked me to be an instructor 🥹
I’m so honored and excited to be offered an opportunity to teach others how to be strong and confident in their bodies and sensuality.

Sharing some work from about a year ago that I, personally, did not give myself enough credit for.
I made the skirt around last February. It was the first “big” project that I conceptualized and created as a beginner sewist. It is a sort of drop waist peasant skirt with an emphasis on utility (bc I am a hard working gal), comprised of second hand flannel shirts and denim.
I kept all of the pockets from the source Levi’s and used the button plackets of the shirts as means to make the skirt adjustable from the floor, to the mid shin, or knee height, in a draped manner. The adjustments can be made around the whole or part of the skirt, allowing for variability when styling. In the pictures, only the front of the skirt has been elevated to give a hi-lo effect and allow better mobility.
The look as a whole, down to the accessories, was sourced entirely from second hand shops, with the exception of the shoes.

I made this shirt from curtains and fitted bedsheets. Knowing how to sew is basically an infinite clothing glitch. 💕

Fun and funky lil outfit 🌸🌷🌿
Jorts are growing on me and I’m obsessed with substituting scarves for a 30in buss down! Keeping the layers light for more comfort in the heat.
