David Barcenas, members of the family, and myself are carrying the casket of former president of Baxter, Harris Lee Goodwin. He had been the president for three decades and I was just starting. It was a realty check for me, he had done many good things in establishing the school, but he too had feet of clay. Now he would have to trust in Jesus and His claim to be Resurrection and Life. On the Frontline Again! Dr. Erazo and the clinic staff recently went to the impoverished Izopo community. The quarantine makes it impossible for them to travel to clinic, so our clinic team took the initiative and the risk to go to them. They provided food and assessments of malnourished children in the Nutrition Program. 8 of the 12 kids showed weight gain. At the same time they gave direction for the moms in the cosmetology and sewing classes. Medical attention and meds were provided for asthma, hypertension, and diarrheas.
