Baxter‘s lab (Hazbin Hotel fanmusic)
This piece of fanmusic was written for Baxter, who will appear in season 2 of Hazbin Hotel!
At the moment when this is uploaded, we have not yet seen much of Baxter. Only a short storyboard clip that the cover image is taken from. So I thought it'd be fun to imagine what kind of instrumental score might work best with this character. I imagine this playing while he's in his lab doing Evil Scientist Stuff TM.
My two biggest musical inspirations were my Vox piece ("blood in the water"), since it's also aquatic-themed, and "Aquarium" from the Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns. Still, this is very much it's own thing. It's partially structured like a canon.
