dang I should make a muppets self insert! I've had a crush on janice ever since I first saw her, but I haven't made a sona yet... for now I'll go with my bugsnax sona, baxter paddingpaw, since that game has been compared to the muppets before!
I'd say baxy wouldn't be one of the most popular characters, but they'd still have some vocal fans. they might be a bit divisive as well- some people would find their scatterbrained nature and friendly personality cute and charming, while others would be annoyed that they seem a bit self-absorbed and hypocritical. I can imagine people drawing them in cute little outfits a lot :]

💞: Aside from with your f/o, who else would you commonly be shipped with? Why?
baxy- I can see people shipping her with wiggle or beffica, possibly triffany... they already think wiggle is pretty, and have also struggled with making art they think will appeal to others. although she used to be a little wary around beffica because she brought up memories of people she had bad experiences with, I can see them getting closer in the endgame, and I think people would like their dynamic. triffany has helped them out when they got lost before, and they consider her a good friend, so I can imagine people taking that and adding a little romance...
blivian- emily is the only other character I can really see being paired with her! they're both energetic, friendly, and know their way around a toolkit, which I imagine would make for a good connection. in canon they're friendly acquaintances, but I can totally see them becoming friends- and I'm sure some people could see them dating!
dr. valentine- they canonically have a crush on miss pauling, but they never act on it as they think it would make their work relationship awkward. doubt that would stop people from shipping them though, they'd be subtly silly4silly lesbians if they ever did end up together
