Hey anon! You're also very sweet but my comments weren't about anti-parse fans. I've managed to limit my connections with them and haven't really had any coming knocking down my door. Regardless of how I feel about them and their views, their views are just that, theirs and as long as they don't bother me it's whatever.
I was referring to pretty much just the lack of interaction with my stuff in general. It's incredibly disheartening to spend hours upon hours dedicated to crafting a well thought out plot/lines/etc. only to have next to no validation. I get that nobody's obligated to kudos/comment/message etc. so I won't disparage them that but I also don't see the point in pouring all my free time into these works.
