. one must imagine battat constantly summoning friend for stupid mundane tasks like holding their coat or scrubbing their back when they first met and before they understood its importance&power.

why are friend and battat always up to the painfullest angst ever recorded or some possession shit why isnt batt chasing it out with a broom threateningly held above their head out the personnel only room, or pouring borderline boiling water on it ,or scolding it for not being up to the tv world dress code. they would not submit that easily to friend. they wouldnt they wouldnt

batt does not have a coffee addiction and they are bad for any sort of relationship regardless of who its with: many dont notoce this .

i still kinda mourn that toby didnt make batt using different pronouns/terms outside of being mike a real thing in the game it would be nice if it was more apparent being mike is something batt doesnt really like but forces themself to sit through despite it making them uncomfortable. but i guess what we got was pretty good when you read into it very closely because it implies being mike is still affecting them out of costume, turning even their own personal life into a performance. i just wish this reading of them as a character was more popular and was more openly implied in canon. by reading this post you are being subjected to my propaganda
