Barry shifted a little, nervous. "So, um, have you guys ever - um, found one alive still?"

Clark desperately wanted to hear a yes. Somewhere where his alter-ego had been stopped. He hoped that there had been places where murdering in cold blood, torture and desecration had been stopped.

And I thought the Catradora Fic would have been the darkest fic I would end up recommending :V! Oh boy, this was a ride! I'm not one for reading angst or my faves being tortured but this fic was soo good! Please be careful, it does go into detail on the torture of Bruce(s) by a deranged Superman (think Injustice mixed with that one ep of the Justice League cartoon where the League are evil and known as 'Lords'). The fic is huge and it keeps you on your toes all throughout, the way the author managed to capture all the characters present and the emotions they all go through is magnificent! I was moved and had to take a couple of rests through most of it bc of the emotions this fic managed to get out of me. Simply put, my heart was torn apart and put back together at the end!

Since it is part of the Superbat Big Bang, it does have fanart of it and my gods, it is absolutely beautiful and just as heart-wrenching as the fic! The very first art (of three!) is my favorite! I love the depiction of the different Bruces and I hope you can check it out and also give love to the artist!

After an offworld mission goes horribly awry, Clark begins to wonder if the past is really behind him and Bruce. And what better way to deal with the issues than with planetary peace talks, forced transformations, and a psychic bond that doesn't allow for lying?
