Jason started dating Hal to piss Kyle and Bruce off but then, to his consternation, found himself developing Feelings because Hal is like Roy, but older, and somehow even more obnoxious, which is Hot to him for some reason. Roy found out and has threatened to disown Jason multiple times. The more depraved sexual acts Kyle does with Bruce, the more expensive and grandiose art supplies Bruce buys him because he feels guilty about fucking a baby, and Kyle's sort of curious to see how far he can push it. it's like a Mexican standoff for all involved, except with sex instead of guns. Bruce doesn't want to be here. The rest of them are very eager to be here. they are all united in their desire to tick Bruce off.
