It should be my habit. To look at my Encounter God Retreat Certificate of Completion. During times that I feel sad, frustrated or mad. So I would remember that day that I felt God embracing me. To always remind me that with Him, I could go through this.
Yung session namin about being home. About being where we really belong. Being with Him. When Pastora said that we can go hug our SG (Spiritual Guide) and feel like God is hugging us too. When I was still walking, naiyak na agad ako. I was crying on ateās shoulder. Canāt stop the tears, really. And then ate said, āYouāre home, Kaila. Youāre home." Lalo akong naiyak. Lord, Iām home. At hinding hindi na ako aalis pa sa bahay Mo.
Feeling Godās presence is beyond awesome. His Holy Spirit makes my body tremble and my hands shaking. And the best part, the part where all of us started to speak in tongues. I was very excited about that. That made me so much happier. That fact that I felt His Spirit makes me feel complete. I feel like Iāve experienced Him too. āThank you, Lord.ā talaga. š

EGR ; Batch 18 ; Lord Ready Na Ako āŗļøšš»
Our EGR these last two days was just very memorable. Ang daming napa-realize sa akin si Lord. Iba yung epekto kapag nasa EGR ka na eh. At first, I thought everythingās just gonna be a simple preaching. But NO. Before night came, the session that involves inner healing, dun na, I thought I was already fine but NO. Suddenly, I just canāt contain it, I burst out everything Iāve been keeping. Iniyak ko lahat kay Lord. Iniyak ko lahat sakaniya, lahat lahat ng sakit na tinatago ko. Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam, nakakagaan ng loob. And they also made us watch Jesus dying and being crucified. I canāt even look for 5 seconds and the sounds I heard. Ang sakit. Ang sakit na makita na Heās willing to die for us to be saved. They made us stand and extend our arms like making a cross and just stay like that, and itās hard. Imagine, not being crucified, nakatayo ka lang and your arms na naka-extend lang sa side mo. Nakakangalay, nakakapagod. What more pa yung ginawa ni Jesus. He was beaten to death. And the last day was one of the best, the very last session was the best. It was the part where they told us to experience the Holy Spirit. And I cried out. I shouted to the Lord that I want to experience His Holy Spirit. I felt my whole body trembling, my hands shaking and then suddenly, my mouth spoke words that I canāt even understand. It was worth it, more than pa nga eh. Lord, 100% ready na ako to finish this race with you. I love you, Lord. āŗļøšš»
On life and Indayog.
Sayaw Manila season just ended. It wasnāt just a mere 2-day event that happened annually. For me, those two days were special. Iāll never forget that weekend, for it has made realize how lucky I am to be a part (well, almost) of this FAMILYā¦ the UP Manila Indayog Dance Varsity. Indayogās not your typical university organization. After spending almost the entirety of my sophomore year with Indayog (going through all those training, workshops, batch dances, etc.), I am now thankful for this group of people to whom I share a common interest with... the love of dance. I can feel the support, care and concern and love that they give to all those who are a part of Indayog. You canāt feel that in any other organization. This makes Indayog unique.
Ā I never really thought Iād be dancing in college... since it was never really my thing back in my early years. (Well, I did dance but only just for fun) But now, being in Indayog doesnāt only mean I get to improve on my dancing skills or meeting new people. Basically, Indayog has given me more than what I expected. It has helped me gain a new outlet on how I could express myself, my thoughts and my ideasā¦ something I wasnāt able to do before. It serves as my escape from a rather chaotic life. It has helped me strengthen my faith in the Lord through using the skills He has given me.
Ā In two weeks, me and my batchmates will undergo Aspirantās Weekā¦ the last phase of our trainee year before we finally become members. I know itās not a piece of cake. It will surely test us physically, mentally and emotionally. But I know I can do it. I know Batch 18 can do it. I have always had this belief that if I love what Iām doing, then, in one way or another, I will excel in it. I love dancing. I love Indayog.
I am glad IĀ auditionedĀ again. I am glad I stayed. I finally found my place in UP Manila. Gusto ko na po maging Indayogā¦ dahil ngayon pa lang, sa trainee year ko, napatunayan ko na ANG SARAP MAGING INDAYOG. All for God. Ā All for love. Ā All for Indayog.
