But what really did me in was listening to “I Found You” on the soundtrack. It reminded me of one of my favorite moments from the comics, so i scanned some pages from Batman Gotham Knights #17 so others could feel all the feels with me.

I think this gets to the heart of why I like Damian even when he’s being written as a bratty asshole or a murderous psycho, because for me he’s always this, a broken little boy, some one who grew up with out love or connection, who wants to be loved and understood but not only doesn’t know how to ask for that, he’s openly terrified of it, that if some one loves him he’ll mess it up and lose their love, its hard to not feel for this little bird.
