When Sebastian was younger his parents typically made him stay up in his room during important social gatherings. It had been a few years since they managed that. Where there was freely flowing alcohol Sebastian wasn't far behind, even if it meant dealing with the Elite of the Free Marches.
He hated it though. Because despite his status within his family, he was still Royalty. It took all of about five minutes before most of the social climbing sycophants to start fawning over him.
It only took ten minutes after that for Sebastian to secretly procure enough booze for the night and sneak his way out into the gardens. There were always a few people out there during nights like tonight, but mostly it was just people like him, some who he was actually on friendly enough terms with. A few greeted him as he wandered past, and there were a few interested looking lads and lasses -- but at the moment Sebastian found a bench in a secluded corner and sat by himself.
He wouldn't go to any of them. They would come to him. That was how it always was. It was how he wanted it to be tonight. So he waited, taking a swig from the bottle of Orlesian wine in his hand and relaxed.
Sebastian had all the time in the world to waste, after all. No obligations was the best thing about his life...
