the (relation)ship is back!! this time for ranchers <3
Grandpa had a lot to say about the submarine and all of it was "I hated being on that thing" and lowkey I can't blame him because the cold war was...yaknow. I think doing sailor ranchers is actually mega intresting so I'm adding it to my passive research pool for when writing becomes too much and I wanna just stick my head into a wikipedia hole. I think it would be way too much fun to have random boat/ocean facts added to my conglomerate of other weird facts I just have laying around in my brain.
like, did you know Wombats poop in cubes and biologists dont know why yet? Or that you can tell if a dinosaur is a dinosaur by his hip joints? (I really gotta go back and check the fine details of this one but from my vague museum memory, there are dinosaurs and the lizard guys before dinosaurs (my brain no do word today, stick with me) and to tell those guys apart you can tell, pretty easily, by the kind of hip socket they have. If I ever find the time to dig up an article about that I will reblog this post but for now always take tumblr fun facts with a grain of salt) or that American "shiny" sliced cheese was created by those german scientists the US employed after ww2 so their big brains "didnt go to waste" and so they invented whats basically plastic cheese and also the atomic bomb?
I am horrible at trivia though.
