So this isn't a Minecraft experience (only (legally) got minecraft like three years ago) but I remember playing a specific Roblox game that terrified me as a child.
I remember one, ONE screenshot from this game and it's in my memory so I can't even show it. A plot point in the game was that everyone has suddenly disappeared-- whether it was an apocalypse (didn't visually look like it), time coming to a stop, etc. I can't recall-- and the main character found this out by driving home from one location (probably work? Looked like the inside of a factory) and seeing various crashed, burning cars on the sides of the road but no people.
Here the singular memory comes in. It's a road and a 90 degree turn, turning directly into a tunnel that had those black opaque blocks to show just how dark it was. The road had white bricks on the side of it although notably no sidewalks. It was about at this turn that the narrator pointed out how everybody was missing, something I very clearly remember because the car was SO hard to drive and I struggled for a few minutes to get in that tunnel.
With the vibe of the game and the variety of experiences I was murking about at that period of time-- PARTY.EXE, friends.EXE (currently renamed to F.R.I.E.N.D.S.), that one Fluttershy game... you get it) it was probably a horror or at least psychological experience.
I've posted about it on Reddit, tried to look in forums, tried to search on Youtube, but I've found no traces back on to what this could be, and every day I reconsider whether this was a dream or a real game. But it was terrifying
if it was a lesser played game and hasnt been updated in years then unfortunately due to a new update it isn't playable anymore bc it hasn't been rated (which is stupid. roblox is stupid nowadays)
im not at all well-versed in the possibilities of minecraft lore as ive seen you be, however, food for thought: upon turning on subtitles and being near a parrot, subtitles say that the “parrot talks”. Not squawking, not cawing, but specifically talking. The sound they make doesn’t exactly align with any other mob that lives in jungles (or even outside of those), which implies that they learned how to *talk* specifically from something else. Is this anything or am i thinking way too deep into it
i think it could just be because a lot of people describe their parrot as talking when it is just making bird noises, but i am not Well Versed in the minecraft development thought process. it could be that they're still imitating a broken telephone game of the language the old civilisation was speaking though
cat scarf cat scarf!!!!!
cat in question proceeded to try and fall asleep on my shoulders before switching to my lap
OH SO AWESOMES KITTY
Hi hello this is completelt and entirely random but your previous MCYT fic inspired me to finallt write my own minecraft story (unfortunately its a first person self insert herobrine thing) aand i know you have really cool worldbuilding so i just really wanted to share some fun notes i came to today
cause hear me out. minecraft tea.
Absolutely: berries, honey, oxeye daisy, cherry blossoms, glow berries, sugarcane, kelp
Doubtful: azalea (leaves and flower), chorus fruit/flower, glowing lichen, cactus
Very questionable: pitcher pod, spore blossoms, weeping vines, twisting vines
DO NOT: sliverfish, skulk, frog eggs, spider
Powder: glowstone powder, dunpowder, redstone
(I’m avoiding real teas)
Oxeye daisy tea that gives you a slight feeling of regeneration for just two seconds…. Like a tiny painkillers. Quite neutral in taste, not sweet but not sour either, but still delightful
Glow berry tea that makes you glow on the outside a bit, giving you an outline of sorts. Sweet but with that sour sting wild berries come with
Azalea tea that fills up the entire room with its aroma, probably would have some sleepy effects as well. Leaves would taste like neutralized nettles, flowers would add a sweet flavor to it
Chorus fruit/flower tea that shifts you just a little bit to the side when you drink it. I swear I can image what it’d taste like but I can’t describe it. The smallest sip will already make you feel full until you teleport, making you feel like you haven’t drunk at all. Kinda like drinking juice in order to satisfy your thirst only to want to drink more cause of the sweetness
Glowing lichen tea that, unlike glow berries, makes your insides glow a little bit. Open wounds, scars, mouths, the insides of your eyes are adorned with the ever faintest glow. Also used in medical practices
I dont know enough about torchflowers, pitcher pods nor weeping vines to write smth so if y’all have suggestions lmk
Weeping vine tea that’s spicy as SHIT and almost forcefully causes your body to produce water one way or another, whether through sweat, saliva or more often tears.
Twisting vines that cause a mental hallucination/feeling of your limbs being twisted and unwell (despite them being perfectly fine). Probably the most sour tea of all of these
Glowstone powder tea that’s chalky and you will probably choke on the first few times you drink it, BUT it makes you glow in the dark!
Redstone powder tea that tastes the muckiest, like if you’re drinking mud. However, the effects last the longest, allowing you to activate redstone signals with your own body rather than a leven/button/etc.
Gunpowder tea that judt tastes like absolute shit but it lets you light explosive things on fire (including you!)
I literally have no reason to share this other than the fact that i think its cool and hopeflly you’ll think its cool too. Okay its almost 11 pm im gonna sleep off the regret of sending this
I READ THROUGH THIS WNET YOU SENT IT but i was going to bed and forgot to answer but i think this is awesome and cool

hi have aphoto of my kitty after we've been away from each other for ten days (vacation) (she was well taken care of by a family member she loves)
oh sweetest little kitty
Fun thing I just found out! did you know that wither skeletons shoot fire arrows if you give them a bow (which can be only done through commands since they don't pick 'em up), regardless of what arrows they have and if the bow is enchanted? i dunno that's pretty fun
oh yeah, that was originally what was planned but iirc it was too hard to deal with so they just got swords instead
Kitty is comfortable in the kitchen because the floor is warm :) she’ll have to enjoy it while she cans because more electricity outages are around the corner every day
the humble comfy kitty.... so wonderfuls.....
