#basic observations

    I want to summarize a text which we read this week for Arch121 lecture. The text called “Basic Observations” in the book called “Experiencing Architecture” which written by Steen Eiler Rasmussen.

     The text is starting with a comparison in order to illustrate differences between architecture, painting and sculpture. Although all of them appeal to the eye, utility has a very significant role to distinct architecture and other fine arts because an architect designs structures with specific intentions to humans for a better life. However, painting and sculpture lacks utility. 'Aesthetics judgements' is a crucial issue for them, otherwise architecture is a functional art. Briefly, architecture is required utility and functionality.

    Another significant thing is conformity in architecture. Rasmussen defences that a building should be ahead of its time when created so that it live a long time and reach its aim. Briefly, stability is one of the most important thing in architecture.

    According to Rasmussen, observations are quite important for architecture. He draws attention discoveries of forms and functions of objects and environments for children by seeing, playing and touching. Children experience and learn more things about objects according to weight,solidity and texture.

We head back to where we planted the bomb, and start taking out the Geth forces.

Mom: Wait, so when do we get to kill Ashley?

Me: Well, we just left her to die.

Mom: Oh. Eh, I guess that's just as good. Buh-bye, bitch.

We fend off the Geth, when there's suddenly a blast of biotic energy above, which knocks Kaidan to the ground. It's Saren, flying in on his hoverboard. Saren lands as Shepard takes cover, and fires a few pistol shots at him. They're deflected by his shields.

Mom: That's not enough to hurt Saren!
