thor 1 stands its ground really well to me in the face of the newer ~better~ mcu movies for a lot of the reasons you listed but mostly: it just has such heart and it has fun with itself, and i'm always ready to defend it (it catches the second-most amount of flak in the mcu, i've noticed, with #1 most hated going to the hulk)

19. a character you didn’t like before but like now?

There was a time back during season 10 when I genuinely did not want Donut to come back, not because I didn’t like him but because his writing was just. so. that. Anyway he did come back and I think his writing has steadily deteriorated ever since because neither Miles nor Joe have had any idea what to do with him (nor it seems, do most fans) and that’s unfortunate because he has potential, damn it.
