Hungry Dogs Are Never Loyal
It really was a beautiful wedding. Emilia had selected the venue, the decor, and even the food herself. She knew the two of them so well that it came naturally. She was, after all, useful for things other than murder and sex. It was a pity it had to end so soon.Â
Sebastian Moran’s lips had met Jim’s for no more than a second before the bullet entered his brain. Blood and flesh sprayed the opposite wall as his body crumpled into a heap. The scream from his groom was almost deafening.Â
Her gaze shifted from the sniper to the criminal mastermind. She cherished the look of horror on his face as his loyal pet betrayed him. It was the only time she had ever seen him display such emotion. Oh, how the tables had turned. The normally needy, emotional redhead was cold and detached as she pulled the trigger once more, and the man she had devoted her entire life to fell at her feet.Â
Emilia stood there for a moment, gun still aimed, entirely motionless. The only sound was the breath that escaped her lips, a sigh of relief, sweet release from the love that had twisted and maimed her soul and burned the very heart out of her.Â
// @bashertigermoran because you sent me the “kill my character” ask! Also tagging @flight-of-the-thieving-magpie, @crownjeweledspider, and @jim-moriarty-alive because this escalated into more than just killing Sebastian. Woops. //Â
