Bar Veloce. Ooops, been there.
A fellow RPM instructor from Dallas, Christine (check out her fitness blog), is in town for the weekend. We wanted to squeeze in a quick rendezvous, and met for some bubbly at Bar Veloce (176 7th Avenue).
For some odd reason, I could have sworn I hadn't been to this place before, but the second I stepped in... "oh..." Ya know, I'm just getting old. Kind of a tiny fail on my part in terms picking a new place.
So afterwards, I decided to experiment with a new subway route to my weekly beach volleyball game in Brooklyn Heights. And totally prefer this new route tenfold (a walk west to the 2 or 3 train straight to Clark Street vs. the local 6 to the 4 or 5, risking having the 4 or 5 not actually going into Brooklyn - like yesterday - with also a longass walk to the volleyball courts).
That sentence was excruciatingly long.
