      jugheadâs  doing  what  he  does  best.  staying  away  from  everyone.  for  once:  not  on  his  laptop,  if  only  because  he  needs  time  to  actually  process  this  past  week.  itâs  alarming  how  easy  it  is  for  jughead  to  MISS  things.  heâs  trying  so  hard  to  catch  everything  in  the  palms  of  his  hands,  but  he  canât.  he  knows  jellyâs  had  a  dance  recital  because  heâs  seen  the  facebook  pictures,  knows  he  missed  archieâs  first  real  performance.  meanwhile,  heâs  getting  himself  further  &  further  underwater,  trying  to  catch  a  break,  but  the  tides  keep  drawing  him  back  in.Â
      it  makes  him  sick.  numb.  riverdale  used  to  be  predictable.  in  a  way ? it  still  kind  of  is.  he  spots  a  man  go  over  to  the  vending  machine  to  his  right  before  sighing,  repeating  the  same  thing  heâs  told  to  ten  people  now,  â the  vending  machineâs  jammed.  â  it  was  why  he  had  chose  to  stand  here  in  the  first  place.  he  thought  the  clear  way  the  lights  of  the  machine  arenât  on  would  be  a  sign  that  trying  to  but  something  would  be  a  lost  effort.
