Ever since I came across them, I've always loved the designs of the Barricodes of the Metropolis AU. Eventually, my overactive brain thought, "Hey, how would I do if were to make my own little to make Barricode?" And after a bit of brain-storming, a bit more drawing, I made this lovely fellow.
Say hello to OTTO!
The inspiration for OTTO came from the main villain from an old '80s arcade game called Berzerk. He was a typical AI gone murderous, but the funny thing is that he took the form of a giant killer happy face that bounced after you as you made your way through the levels. Sounds fun, I know.
So yeah, the main gist of OTTO is that he's a Barricode with a Jekyll and Hyde theme going on, where their innocent facade hides a more... murderous side of them.
And as for the cute little bowtie I gave them, I put it there to help make him a little more unique while also adding to the innocent facade they have. As for the design of said bowtie, I did it because I thought it would fit the technological and digital feel of the Metropolis AU.
The Barricodes (and the Metropolis AU) belong to @huecycles
Best of luck on Metropolis and Candleholder! You're doing a fantastic job!
