Well, I talked to the other dressage trainer at the barn and she said she'd be more than happy to teach me. She's good, but she's still not my trainer. I'm scared Hessel and I are just going to plateau in our ability. Or worse, I'm going to ruin him. I just notice such a huge difference in him and me during my lessons with my trainer and even a few days later. He can be such a shit sometimes and I really really hope this new trainer can unlock his and my potential like my current trainer.

barn update

wow I have a lot to catch you guys up on. I know I've been neglecting you sorry. well, sweet old Oreo passed away over Thanksgiving. Lots of people will miss her, she was one of the gentlest and most affectionate mares I've ever met.

Marcel and Oxford, the two giant drafts, were moved to a new home, hopefully one that Marcel cannot escape from as easily. He developed quite a reputation as our Houdini horse, often breaking out of his paddock to visit his goat friends.

and we have two new additions who I just met today, and who I don't know the names of yet. they're two young fillies, a bay and an appaloosa.
